Representation plays a critical role in that experience. When young athletes see female coaches, mentors, and leaders who understand their experiences, it helps them believe that leadership roles within the game are possible for them too. Representation creates connection, confidence, and a stronger sense of belonging. It allows players to envision a future for themselves not only as athletes, but as future leaders within the sport and their communities.
The Rise Within Pathway was created to intentionally strengthen those connections.
We want players to feel that they are part of something bigger than a single season or team. By creating mentorship opportunities, leadership experiences, and pathways into coaching, we help athletes develop deeper relationships within the club and stronger long-term connections to the game itself.
